Lu202 & pf601

Hi all

The question #1 is, what`s that great difference between LU202 & PF601?
Is PF601 just more expensive option than LU202?

#2 What about PF701? Could this option be used with KM c6500 as an alternative to PF601? (making parallels, FD501 could be used with both 1050 & 6500)

Many thanks!

The LU202 is a single bulk draw. No double feed detection, a capable unit but based on last gen tech, later models have upgraded feed head.

PF-601 is dual draw and a massive improvement, feeds pretty much anything. Elevator lock to set paper guides correctly, ultrasonic double feed protection and will feed down to 100mm wide. Like the LU202 it has edge detection technology which pretty much guarantees acurate registration. If you perform the tray adjustment and store the settings either tray will register identically.

The PF-701 is only for the 1050 and not as good IMHO as the PF-601 even tho it has an extra tray. Only finishing accessories are compatable between c6500 and 1050E.

Does PF601 or PF602 require Creo RIP ic304 or it could work with Fiery ic408 too?
Could PF601 be used with 6501, too, not only 6500?

Many thanks!

Depends on firmware, all later versions suppported the PF unit with any rip. I have tried a PF-602 on a C6500 but I have not tried a PF-601 of a C6501.

How is the PF602 better than the PF601s?
