Surface Finish for a Chrome Roller.

Does anyone know what the "Ra" or Surface Finish needs to be on the Chrome roller in a coating unit? 2007 SM74 5 color with Coater.

Why do you need to know the "surface roughness" - Ra ?

I have my chrome metering cylinder out for repairs, get rid of dings and scratches. The Chroming company needs to know what surface finish we need. I thought it was the same for my Dampening chrome meterings, but I want to be certain. As it turns out I just got word that it has a different Ra value than the Water Chromes. Thanks anyways.
