Upgrading to a Canon V700

Digressing from the topic but this jumped off the page.
Are you using >File>Print from within InDesign as opposed to >File>Export to make a PDF for your RIP?

I still have my R(P)agemaker booklet (~60pgs) which details !exactly! where and how in each of a half dozen places it was necessary to describe the page orientation so as to achieve the correct output for our film imagesetter. This booklet was a response to the overwhelming amount of support calls detailing the issues.
So the fact someone is actually printing to a printer in a commercial environment (with an A$$be product no less) with no thought to how wrong that can go should not surprise me.
Sigh.
