Versant 4100 - Code 078-127

Anyone had code 078-127 as a problem on Versant 4100? "Multifeed check sensor fail in tray 5,6 or 7"? I've had technichian here twice, changed multifeed sensor, and a board for tray 6 and 7, still getting same error several times during a job. Sometimes it pops up after a few prints, but suddenly it can print hundreds without stop. Technician says its the paper, that we have to cut all paper in all 4 ends, but I cant see thats the problem, worked for years before without cutting. It is not just on a spesific paper type, its on all SRA3, 80gr to 300gr, coated and uncoated. As you can see on attached picture, I sometimes cant turn my back to the printer, before it stops again... not very effective when also have to print on a Iridesse and offset at same time sometimes.
Any tips or advice is appreciated.

(We also have same looking problem on SRA4 from Tray 6, but then code 078-100 "Tray 6 pre registration sensor" and code 078-103 "Tray 6 pre registration sensor jam", if that would say something compared to the SRA3 problems.)

I think the error may be due to the paper intermittently not arriving at the multi-feed sensor at the right time. Pop the back off of the high capacity feeder and check for stripped gears and/or damaged pulleys. There is a mechanical assembly that drives the paper transport for the module that will need replacement once in a while.
