Hi,

I'm trying to set up a system for pre production information gathering. My boss wants to do this in access but i'd rather build a PHP web interface. Partialy because i'm using a Mac. Any convincing advice?

Definitely go down the PHP route. We had several Excel documents for various bits of info and took the time to put them all on our server. Now anyone can access the info they want and not have to worry about having acess or excel etc. Depending on your server setup, files can even be accessed from outside using a laptop.
