Well, first of all there's a vast difference in prices between the UK and US. Expect to pay roughly double US prices in the UK.

Secondly there is a big variation in price according to the RIP and machine options chosen. As an example I'd guesstimate that the list price on a 6501 system 7 with a Creo would be £60K+. A 700 with a similar spec was a tiny bit cheaper the last time I asked. I'd expect a BIG discount on list if paying cash or with pre-approved credit. I'm told that very many deals are falling through due to customers not being able to get finance, so cash or a sky high credit rating = big discounts.
