White Ink on Indigo 7500

I am trying to print screens in white ink on my 7500.
The press only wants to print dots in a range between 20 and 50 percent. Outside that it is either 0 or 100
Is there anyway to linearize the white ink to get it to print like the other colors? i.e. 5%-95%

I run a 5500 with White ink and have never had that problem. I have printed jobs with 5%-20% screens. The problem may be in you file setup. How are you preparing the files? What color paper/substrate are you printing on?
