xerox 4112 spooling speed

Hi, I have two xerox fx4112s.
This machines are well doing.
But there are several problems.
1. when the pdf file is made from powerpoint, the spooling speed is very slow.
The same problem occurs on some kind of pdf file made from other sort of software.

2. It can't print when the ink coverage is over 90%.

I'm very appreciated if you tell me the answers.

there is no rip software. Printers are connected with computer through lan. Computer is i5 cpu and 4giga ram. Computer system is xp s3.

1. If you are using a Postscript print driver, try PCL. If you are using PCL, try Postscript.

From what you have said, I'm going to say it's a Windows print driver issue. PowerPoint uses VML for it's images, which can cause issues. Try using the postscript driver. I agree that your issue with over 90% makes no sense. Try downloading the latest postscript drivers from xerox.

I find any MS files that have transparency, drop shadows etc. make terrible PDFs, as these areas can be made up from 000's of tiny image masks, you might have the same issue.

How are you creating the PDF files from Microsoft? I've found that using the "print to" adobe PDF print driver often causes transparency issues with the newer versions of MS Office. Usually what we recommend our customers to do is download the "Save as PDF" add-on to MS Office, this usually gets rid of transparency issues, maybe worth a shot to try.
