Xerox Versant 180 vs 3100

Our shop is considering one of these presses, anyone have experience with both and have thoughts on one versus the other? Volume wise we could go either way with obviously more room for growth if we decide the 3100.

The 3100 was less expensive than a 180 for us due to the clicks being substantially lower.

If you can swing it the 3100 is the better machine. It will pump out a lot of work and handle tougher jobs. Another print shop put in a 180 and was having all kinds of trouble printing pressure sensitive labels, while our 2100 runs them great. The service guys were saying it had to do with the longer paper path on the 2100/3100.

Thanks KDW75, We run a lot of labels so that is very nice to know. I am going to run some of our label stock today on the floor model along with some others that we run regularly.
