    OCE Arizona Double sided printing

We have had similar issues with double sided coro, sintra, or catapaque. In my experience I line up the media on the table rulers. print first side, then use a regular ruler and mark out the edges on the 48 in corner, and do the same on the opposite end leaving a mark on the table, mark the...

    Illumina DEP Registration

Does anyone know if there is any other color registration adjustment other than the "Adjust Registration" in the "Calibration" Menu? All consumables including (drums, toner, belt and fuser) are current in the envelope press.

    IC-304 Creo RIP question

Its only for between copies when colate is on. We used to use slip sheet with ours, we found it slowed run time too much when it has to pull a different sheet from another drawer. So we opted for sheets that are not 13x19 to simply Offset them :)

    SWOp ISO etc.

It's difficult to get consistency with toner based machines. Calibration is a must or it seems to help our shop a lot. Also, we started exporting pdf's with spot colors (when required) and choosing to "include all profiles". With that we have also changed to DOT2 in our config on the c6500, so...

did anyone using ilumina 502 digital production press

Yes do the math.. it doesn't add up.. as far as the aftermarket I have heard the same. .that some of the toners are no good (cheap) and cause problems. I got lucky with my first choice and will only buy from the same source since it is working perfectly!

    OPI/ARP - Creo IC-304 / C6500

As stated in the title. Our shop hasn't utilized either feature when sending large jobs to the RIP. Now that we are doing larger Variable Data jobs I would like to implement a workflow for it. Why? Mainly because it will cut down on file size and process time for the RIP. Also eliminating having...

did anyone using ilumina 502 digital production press

good for short run, straighshooter feeder is prob the best addition imo. a bit expensive for consumables but you can probably refill the toners to cut a little cost. Drums are really difficult to repair and expensive to replace. I heard from a little bird the roller is the only thing in the drum...

    Production Logs

Creo IC-304 does in INFO>ACCOUNTING. has rip/process time, print start and end, color/bw clicks. Can be exported/printed but is a bit finicky with output.

    IC-304 Creo RIP question

Duplicate the job (after you set parameters, ie QTY=100 etc, make sure colate is off if necessary for 1page job, and per previous post choose slipsheet and which tray to pull them from), and duplicate the job 10 times etc for 1000.

Creating a PMS Duotone in Illustrator

It appears this could be done a number of ways.. but maybe a simpler approach would be to draw the shape/object .. Open the swatch panel and then open the swatch libraries to pick your Pantone set Coated/Uncoated etc. then press CTRL+F9 to open the Gradient as well (might be tricky in CS3/4...

    c6500 line through solid/picture

Been fighting this issue for a while but have made do but its becoming a problem with some of our newer jobs. Usually only occurs on larger stocks 11x17 12x18 and 13x19. appears when there is a solid or picture in the document. From a distance you wont see it but upclose in correct light its...
