Hi Is there a way to reduce the fusing temperature on a Xerox docucolor 240. The prints (even on the lightest/fastest settings) are producing very glossy and curly prints - enhanced gloss is not on. Thanks

    Problems With C6501 (IKON CPP660)

Hello Everyone. I have an odd question. We have a C6501 - (IKON Branded CPP660) and we are pretty sure that these parts installed are wrong - they are just not fitting well. Most important things that we are concerned about are the stacker and the RU Unit. Have a look at the photos. That does...

I bought a KM6501 in Dec and now need second machine

We were sold on the spec that the C6501 skew is 0.5mm per side - or 1 mm duplex. We have been unable to get better than 1mm per side on a 13 x 19 sheet. Not much else we can do. You have to love what the sales person sells you - and then what the service tech tells you after the sale. Good Luck.

I am battling a problem that has persisted for over 2 months now. We have a misregistration that is causing blurry text and seems to be mostly in the magenta. For example if I try to print blue text (100/70/0/0) the text will be fine in some places on the sheet - but blurry in other places -...

    Banner on KM 6501/5501

Actually it works on all the rips. The machine needs to be softswitch set to do have this functionality - it has nothing to do with the RIP. I wish I knew what the setting was... I will ask the tech if he is willing to tell me -- and then I can post it.

I just bought an Oce CS665 - esentially a 6501 -- it took some effort and pushing with Oce - but we located the softswitch to allow for long paper. It works fine. There are no problems what so ever with it. We limited outselves to 13 x 40 paper (as we can get 26 x 40 sheets and cut in 1/2) --...
