I have some large format, single pass printers. Obviously, reds and some blues are difficult in CMYK.
90% of the work I do is combinations of Red, Blue, Green and Black.
Can I source spot color inks to use in place of CMY (and perhaps a heavier, less transparent black, as well)?
My googling doesn't point me in the direction I am desiring...
I could use Spot Color replacement in the RIP that would change my "Special Red" to 100% M on the fly and if the spot red is in that channel
then I should (in theory) be able to print in spots, no?
