Hey they have something similar to this that you can pickup at you local crafts store for $12-20 that looks a whole lot sturdier.
I use a scorer that I bought at michaels for small jobs, for big jobs we use the clamp on the cutter... tape down some chipboard and drop the clamp, it works really well, I learned the trick from a guy that literally has ink in his blood. Good luck.
