hi everybody.

Has anyone using UV-Setter?Or the one they called CTcP (Computer to conventional Plates)? It uses analog plates. Our company is planning to have one.But wondering why no one ever mention that in this forum.

Thanks for the feedback.

basysPrint through Punch Graphix uses computer to conventional plate technology. And now after looking it up I see that their models are called UV-Setters XXX. We have a few of the previous models. We started looking at them for the ability to handle multiple size plates from a halm envelope jet press up to a 52 cm. There are other systems that can be preloaded with multiple sizes but none at least at the time with the ability to go down so small as we needed.

It's somewhat of an older technology being that it uses analog plates still and there are concerns about the amount of time that analog plates will continue to be made just like with film. It works ok pretty good speed but for more of a longer term solution you may want to evaluate a violet system as a lower cost system compared to thermal ctp if cost is a main factor.
