ALTANA AG–a developer of coatings, sealants, printing inks and adhesives & a partner in Landa Digital Printing–has acquired Landa's Metallography technology, a Landa product for producing metallized graphics as an alternative to foil-transfer processing. ALTANA will take over final development of Metallography allowing Landa to focus on Nanography.
The Metallography technology is said to be both economically attractive and environmentally sustainable, saving a significant amount of material, cost and production time compared to the conventional cold foil and hot foil stamping technology.
