New Computer

So,
I'm finally getting a new computer for home use. I'm going from a Dell Dimension 8250 with a Pentium 4, 3.4 ghz processor with 512MB ram running XP to a new Dell Inspiron with a core2 duo 2.8 ghz processor with 4GB ram also running XP. Anybody have any idea how much faster this will be using all the same programs, Photoshop, Quark, InDesign, etc.? Is it going to blow me away?

Speed is all relative. What seems fast today is slow tomorrow...........

Yes, it will be faster today....
