Padding Issues

Im having an issue with a padding problem and am wanting some input. We are putting a 70# enamel sheet printed one side and aqueous coated on top of 100 sheets of blue 70# text stock. The problem is that the top sheet( enamel stock) will not stick to the text weight stock. This only happens on about the top third of the rack when we take them off. We have tried everything we can think of to remedy the situation and nothing seems to help. We have done this same job in the past and had the same results short of it being a compound issue we are stumped as to what we can do and my vendor swears its not the compound.

I will admit we have used this particular padding compound for years and have never had an issue, and still don't on other jobs but this particular situation has us in a tailspin. Any and all input is welcome Thanks

Heres a possible workaround . . . make a dummy load for the top 1/3 of the stack and use it over and over again - then the bottom 2/3s of the stack should be good . . ???????? Stupid idea? - sometimes they work
