Prinergy erasing archived files, backup failure

Prinergy archive and retrieve erases files and has backup failure with our Qualstar tape library as an ongoing problem. Any helpful suggestions for a permanent solution would be appreciated.

Replace the cables. Have you contacted Kodak yet?

upgrade to Prinergy 5 and archive to disk. And write your Prinergy backup to file too.

Might be a bad sector a hard drive that's going bad. We've lost files that way before.

Disappearing files is a sign your hard drive is going bad. We have had that problem with servers before.
