i recently bought a 7655 and just now had a chance to hook it up. my question is that i also have a dc6060 and the print quality seems to be head and shoulders above what the 7655 is producing. is there anything that i need to be specifically look for when printing so that i can optimize the output? the options on paper and stock seem to be alot more that what is avilable on my 6060 or dc12. if anyone out there can give me some insight to my problems it would be greatly appreciated. thanks, kristian.

The Xerox WorkCentre 7655 is an office color machine; it does not have a RIP like a Fiery, that's why the quality is below the DocuColor 6060

thanks for the reply! my question is, is there anyway to tweak the machine or what should i be looking for when i print so that i can get the optimum performance from the machine? also is there anywhere that i can find the diffrences between paper susbstrates? there seems to be more choices between paper than my dc12 or dc6060? thanks , kristian.

not sure what exactly you need to "tweak" or what "optimum performance" means to you.

There's not advanced color management on this device; the only options you have are in the Properties of the Print Driver.

About the paper, go to www.xerox.com/support ... you'll find everything there
