Xerox Versant 180- printing Extra Long (CEL) sheets

We have a Xerox Versant 180 and are currently running a 12x26 sheet for a 6-pager, stock is uncoated cover 200 GSM (under the max 220 GSM), and the sheets are jamming every 5-10. Most of the jams occur in the fuser section, the other jams are in bypass tray when feeding (easy to clear). Any suggestions on how to get the sheets to print a little easier? We asked our tech for any suggestions and he told us there is nothing in the manual about running sheets this size. I know the machine is made to do it but it does not seem to like running these sheets. This is the third time we have run a 6-pager and all have gone the same way.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is the substrate perfectly flat?
Do you get the same results with a fresh ream of paper?
We have the optional heater in the extra long tray on our KM C4080 for this reason.

I had the exact same issue running almost the same type of sheet (13 x 26 220gsm). The machine would have an issue feeding the sheets on the first side but not the second because the printed toner gave some friction relief when dragging the sheets through. We had numerous service calls on it and Xerox tried blaming the paper.

In the meantime to fix the issue we elevated the back end of the sheet and shingled it a little to assist in feeding side one into the machine. As previously mentioned side 2 ran effortlessly.

After clearing out jam after jam I started to examine the machine and noticed that their was a spring and clip missing on the 2B part on the main print engine. Because this was broke it was not applying enough pressure to drag the sheet through causing the paper to end up right before the fuser (machine is just clearing the paper there so you can clear the jam. Error is not there.)

Xerox does not give any sort of specs on paper bigger than 13 x 19" so good luck dealing with them.

Support for sheets longer than 19" ends at ensuring that the sheets will feed. 13x26 capability is more of a marketing gimmick than being useful for reliable volume or consistency with the V3100 and V180.

Strongly agree. Ran into the same issue on our Canon 750. Even if the sheets made it through, the registration was so unreliable the only thing you could run was something super generic with massive margins to hide the printer shift.
