We are a small printing Company and have Ryobi 3302 and CTP model DPM 34 HSC and have digital press Minotla C6000 and C920 most of the work we do digitally but long runs 1 and 2 colours we do on Ryobi.
We are also doing variable printing and planning to expand in the mailing services.

I suggest to post your Presstek CTP problem in the Presstek or the Computer to plate section of this forum.you will me able to get more help by doing so. Please let me know where your print shop is located/

I am looking for a Hot melt gluing system for my Bindery/Folder
I have tried two different manufacturers, Sure Tac and GMS..both have the same problem..bad tailing
Does anyone know who makes the best Folder gluer?...I want to achieve a decent dot (doesn't have to be perfectly round) without a tail ...I have been told Nordson is good..
If you have any info please let me know

Currently we are working on three K2 printing presses - working on material width 265: 2 stations and 7 stations, workin on material 440: 6 stations. Die cutters from RotoMetrix, aniloxes from APEX and inks from Michael Huber - this is all I know xD

Unfortunatelly, I am not so fluent in technical language as most of you do, but nevertheless I like to join your community here.

Formerly, I amTechnical-Sales Expert in our company, but my competences and duties are much higher: finding new suppliers, stay in touch with them, negotiate prices, terms of cooperation, also most of our foreign/global customers are under my care. Hi, I am JJ. I've been at PP for about 3 months now. I guess I should introduce myself.

I have been involved with the printing industry for 30 years between education and work experience. Yes, that means I went to college and chose printing as a career(why?why?why?).

I have worked in different formats of printing.....The old instant print Speedy Printing with dupicators and high speed copiers, commercial printers, a scanning and color company back in the day, cold set web printing, and I am currently working for a book printer.

I have been a jack of all trade's working in bindery, press, and prepress. Most of my experience being in prepress.

I do have a good knowledge of printing although there is more for me to learn. Just hoping I can expand my knowledge here although with passing on what knowledge I know as well.

Hi everyone im Joe. I worked for Heidelberg U.S.A. for 23 years. I worked as a lead mechanic for the Quickmaster 46-2 color line from its beggining. I also worked as a full line electrician. I started my own service buisness in January of 2011. I have been married for 25 years to my childhood sweatheart and have 2 great kids we adopted from Russia. I have been working on starting my buisness and have been doing pretty good so far.
