Hello everyone,

Anyone can suggest how & what's the best way to print 12000 A6 scratch cards?

Still learning!

The scratch coating is a screen printing process...

Talk to a specialty finishing house that does UV spot coating usually they can do it also...

Take note that you may not be able to apply it to a lot of digital prints... We used to do it where i worked they would print off-set then they had to apply on press varnish as well i think... It may work on an indigo i can't remember... They may have to apply some sort of coating to a digital print first to make it work...

Pretty sure it won't stick straight over toner so let them know exactly what machine you intend to produce them on first...

Natty,

Thank you for the information.

After few enquiries, I found a specialist print finisher who can do this sort of jobs.
You are absolutely right, they did request that the sheets must be sealed with a vanish otherwise, as you said, it won't work. Anyway, they will be printed litho.
It works simply by applying a special ink called "latex scratch off ink" using screen printing process.

Cheers,

You can produce scratch cards 2 other ways that I am aware of as well.
1-Scratch off foil stamp
2-Scratch off tabs applied through a tabbing machine such as a Kirk Rudy

We have produced several of these types of projects utilizing a digital press to control the variable winners.
