Xerox Versant 80 Image problem, faded edges?

Hi,

I've got an issue with the print quality on my Xerox Versant 80. The edges of the prints are faded - see attached. It's running through all colours on both edges of the print.

Any ideas that might be of help?

It could be the ROS windows need cleaning with the wand. Or you might need the IBT belt changing or cleaning. Could be something blocking it or toner build up.

That looks like a density uniformity print, so when you scan that print and save the settings, you still have the light image down the sides?

I've tried doing the Automatic Density Uniformity Adjustment but every time I do it it says "completed with an error".

Could be that you're not placing the chart on the glass correctly. Take a look at this Density Uniformity Adjustment.

Try also changing the size of paper you're choosing to run it on. I've seen lots of complaints about it failing on 13x19 - but we ran ours on 8.5x11 and 11x17 and never had a failure.
