It can print up to .4mm which is .016" 400gsm is close to .4mm usually. It all depends on the stiffness of the board and you may need to "play" a little to get it but you may never get it either all depending. Printing Press Repair and Service | PrintPressPros

You may have a registration issue on your press. Have the press checked with a special test form. I have a computer ssytem what measures you exact registration. You can contact me at any time via email [email protected].

You want to make sure you use electroplating otherwise rust is a problem. You can check with IGS 630-562-2108 as for John Green they do a god job.
